Creamy Italian Dressing: Zero WW Smart Points

I began on WW, formerly Weight Watchers on March 4, 2019. I’m doing the Weight Watchers Freestyle program, and I must say that I’m enjoying it so far.

Since starting (back) on WW, I’ve dropped 15.6 pounds. Not bad for five weeks.

I absolutely love the new Zero Points Foods. I’ve tried the program in the past; I lost weight but found it difficult to keep up with.

Perhaps that was because I tried the online-only ww program to start off with, as the closest meeting was an hour from my rural home. This time, I have committed to getting my health in order, and I’ve taken a half day off of my work to attend meetings. One of the perks of being a blogger. lol.

Besides the support of the group, the new freestyle program is easy to follow. Zero points foods makes is a cinch. Out to eat? I know I can order a piece of grilled chicken and fish and not blow my day.

What is WW Freestyle?

WW freestyle is Weight Watchers recently revamped program. It includes a list of zero points foods that are nutritionally dense and low in fat. This means that you won’t go hungry on this program.

Also, the company no longer refers to this as a “diet.” Instead, they prefer you think of it as a lifestyle change. They teach you to make smart and healthy choices.

This attitude shift it evokes gives you the tools to not only take off weight but also to keep off weight–once and for all!

Zero Point Creamy Italian Dressing

At home, I’m trying to makeover some of my favorite recipes into low or zero-point options. This Creamy Italian Dressing is one of those recipes.

Super-easy to make, it’s so tasty that even my skinny ass husband who does not need any kind of “diet,” asks me for it.

Note that one ingredient, the Italian Dressing packet has points if you consume more than 1/8 of a packet. So, I’m saying this serves 8 portions of salad; however, I stretch it more to about 10.

Recipe Notes

  1. Add all ingredients to a medium mixing bowl
  2. Whisk all until well blended
  3. Store in a capped mason jar in the fridge for about one week--but it will be gone before then.
  4. If you'd like to make this a bit thicker to use as a dip for raw veggies, omit the water.
  5. Use in 8 or more servings, and you'll use zero WW smart points!

This is so yummy, you’ll start using it on salads, raw vegetables, to top your low-carb wraps, and even on grilled meats. Just remember you can’t eat more than 1/8 of the jar–which really allows pretty generous portions.

I hope you enjoy. If you read this and are thinking of joining WW, please do not hesitate.

It is working for me, and I know it will work for you once you commit to it. Feel free to use my WW referral link--you’ll get a free month, and I will too!
